Globe Center

This eight-building industrial and distribution park encompasses 850,000 square feet of space and is located adjacent to RDU Airport. The buildings, ranging in size from 85,000 to 120,000 square feet, were constructed using insulated precast panels to meet the demands of modern industrial operations. Delivered as a design-build project, Beam was contracted under a Cost Plus with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) agreement.

The project also included extensive infrastructure work, featuring the construction of a new city road and public utilities to serve the park. Site preparation involved the pre-shooting of 500,000 cubic yards of rock to ensure suitable building conditions for the development.
