This project involved new construction of a four-story, 119-key, 66,190-square-foot wood-framed hotel. The building’s exterior features EIFS and fiber cement siding. Due to unsuitable soil conditions, dynamic compaction was used across the building footprint to improve bearing capacity and minimize settlement.
Beam was contracted under a Cost Plus with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) agreement using an AIA A102 contract. The hotel includes amenities such as a pool, conference center, fitness facility, food service, and laundry. The scope also encompassed comprehensive site improvements and landscaping.
